I Wish They Weren’t There

The main idea of this artwork is “Overthinking” which I’m sure happens to many people, including me, during the pandemic. Overthinking can cause someone to feel helpless and the feeling of being dragged to a “dark place” in their mind, as seen visually in the artwork. The title “I Wish They Weren’t There” has a double meaning. On one hand, it means I wish that the “voices” from having to overthink everything weren’t there, distracting and causing unnecessary worry. And on the other hand, it also means I wish that the virus wasn’t around, causing hardship, devastation, and grief to the entire world.
