ONE by(E) ONE

Medium: Digital Poster

It is something that the author felt closely during the pandemic. Which is–losing people who they knew; loved; cherished to covid and reasons other than the virus itself.

The emphasis on this piece is a personification of white & red spider lilies. In Japanese flower language, both flowers have the same meaning, in which ‘looking forward to seeing you again’. But in addition, red spider lily has another meaning that white spider lily does not, ‘sad memory’. It is often related to death itself.

Author input letter ‘E’ on the word ‘by in ONE by(E) ONE’, as if saying goodbye to those who left from our side one by one.
